Particle size reduction is used to reduce grain to a desired size for various filler applications, and support the distribution of the end product by: exposing a greater surface area for digestion; improving the ease of handling certain ingredients; improving the mixing characteristics of certain ingredients; improving pelleting efficiency; and improving pellet quality.

PrimeCut AR922 Emulsion / Reduction System
AR922 Emulsion / Reduction System incorporates a controlled, variable speed pump to feed the reduction chamber. Product is force-fed into the AR922 cutting chamber from another machine, such as a horizontal screw loader. The MulitiCut cutting chamber reduces the product to the desired particle size and temperature. The versatile MultiCut cutting chamber can be used with a single plate and knife or two plates and knives.

- Unique separation design between bearing housing and cutting chamber prevents lubrication contamination of the product.

PrimeCut AR722 Emulsion / Reduction System
AR722 Emulsion / Reduction System incorporates a controlled, variable speed pump to feed the reduction chamber. Product is force-fed into the AR722 cutting chamber from another machine, such as a horizontal screw loader. As meat passes through the primary knife holder and emulsion/reduction plate, the knife holder cuts the particles against the surface of the plate. The cut particles then pass through the holes on the primary plate toward the secondary knife holder. The process delivers superb repeatability of product temperature, stability and texture.

PrimeCut AR901 Gravity-Fed Hopper Style Emulsion System
AR901 Gravity-Fed Emulsion / Reduction System incorporates a square-shaped hopper to feed the cutting chamber. A high-capacity knife holder with scoop-shaped arms draws product from the hopper into the AR901 cutting chamber. and reduces the overall particle size to the desired final size. The single cut configuration consists of one high capacity knife holder, one reduction plate and is ideal for reducing meatblends, petfoods and rendering products.
