Packaging Equipment

Once dosage form is in its final form, it must be properly packaged for distribution. Packaging can also come in different forms which determines how products are handled.

RCS200 Continuous Motion Rotary Capper

Bottles are transferred from the conveyor to the rotary turret assembly by star wheel. Bulk cap feed with on demand controls. Caps are sorted and fed by vibratory feeder. Cap release by bottle sensor. Cap pick-up by oscillating disc and transferred to capping head. The servo controlled rotary capping station has 8 capping heads. Capping head descends and rotates to close the cap to a preset amount of torque. Applicable for screw, ROPP (roll on pilfer proof) and press-on caps (NOTE: May require optional parts). Cap gripper mechanism allows it to work with various safety caps and special shaped caps including CRC. Capping heads are torque controlled using servo with electronic torque adjustment and torque monitoring on the screen. Powered height adjustment for capping head and cap feeder Star-wheel overload detection with automatic stop Container rejection for missing, misaligned and skewed caps.

IC120 Continuous Motion Inline Capper

Caps are loaded into a bowl feeder, aligned and fed to the chute escapement before they are taken by approaching containers. Caps are gradually tightened as they pass along 4 pairs of spindles. Gripper belts to stabilize the container as the caps are tightened. Applicable for screw and press-on caps. Fully adjustable cap feeder, spindles and side belts require no change parts for various applications. Servo controlled spindle speed adjustment. Container rejection for missing, misaligned and skewed caps.

Continuous Motion Press on Capper

Caps are loaded into a bowl feeder, aligned and fed to the chute escapement. As containers pass along the conveyor, they are gripped by adjustable side belts. The cap is placed onto the container before being pressed by a height adjustable top pressure belt that effects closure. Fully adjustable cap feeder, top pressure and side belts and conveyor guides require no change parts for various applications. Container rejection for missing, misaligned and skewed caps. Can be integrated with our automatic cap elevator (option)
