Freezing Equipment

Freezing, in food processing, method of preserving food by lowering the temperature to inhibit microorganism growth. The method has been used for centuries in cold regions, and a patent was issued in Britain as early as 1842 for freezing food by immersion in an ice and salt brine.

CF Continuous Freezer

The horizontal freezing barrel ensures an easy extraction of the beater while the rear barrel flange can be quickly dismantled thus facilitating inspection and maintenence operations. A front digital ammeter controls compressor start/stop according to ice cream consistency inside the barrel so as to prevent product freeze-up. CF continuous freezers have a sturdy stainless steel construction and are built in strict compliance with sanitary and safety standards in force in Europe. Highly performing and easy to operate they can produce any kind of ice cream with an overrun of 30 to 120% and are suitable to be connected to automatic filling / extruding units and to C.I.P. plant for automatic cleaning.

  • Electric front control panel with on/off switch, production, emergency and safety pushbuttons, ammeters, alarms, mix piston pump speed counter and ice cream consistency display

  • Self contained freon refrigeration unit with full flooded system or with thermostatic expansion valve, or system to be connected to freon or NH3 central refrigeration plant.
  • Chrome plated nickel cylinder, polished to mirror finish.
  • Mix pump and ice cream pumps rotary type, powered with variable speed motor drive.
  • Stainless steel frame with sliding doors.
  • Fully automatic version with operator panel touch screen.
  • Semiautomatic version with electronic controls.
